At Bright Parents School, learning goes beyond academics. Our programs support children through sports, bursaries, agriculture, and leadership initiatives that prepare them for school, life, and future success.
Discovering hidden talent through play.
We give every child a chance to discover and develop their sporting ability. Our learners currently participate in soccer, basketball, and netball, with plans to introduce more games as the school grows. Sports have helped many children gain opportunities in strong secondary schools, where they continue to perform well in tournaments and competitions.
Helping needy children stay in school.
Our bursary program works alongside the support for needy children initiative. It helps underprivileged learners with education, boarding accommodation, feeding, health support, and other basic needs. We continue monitoring these children beyond primary school and help connect them to secondary schools or vocational training opportunities so they can become job creators, not only job seekers.
Practical farming skills for life.
Our agriculture program introduces learners to animal husbandry and crop husbandry. Children gain useful hands-on skills in poultry keeping, goat rearing, and growing fruit and leafy vegetables. These lessons help learners understand responsibility, food production, entrepreneurship, and practical skills that can support their future.
Confidence, equality, and leadership.
Girl Up Kisowera Club follows the guidance of Girl Up Uganda. Through this program, boys and girls learn about equality, avoiding gender violence, confidence, leadership, and the importance of girl child education. It also creates a platform for supported children in primary, secondary, and tertiary institutions to interact, share life experiences, and encourage one another.
